| Education |
 |
| This year I have enjoyed spending roughly equal amounts of time working in education and supporting existing clients' with their web-sites and other IT requirements.
I'd like to say a big thank you to those who have stuck with me during this period of transition. It has been fun (and a challenge!) to work with young people
again. I've especially enjoyed introducing them to the delights of IT as well as teaching all the other subjects in the primary curriculum from the science of
musical instruments, through canoeing, rock climbing and gorge-walking, to drama and citizenship lessons based on the comedy of Laurel & Hardy! |
 |
| I'm working hard to realise my dream of finding a role within education which allows me to apply my educational and IT knowledge, skills and experience to enhance the education of young people especially in relation to personalised and e-learning. |
 |
| I've been busy exploring the possibilities offered by educational web sites, PDAs, wirelessly-networked laptops, on-line assessment (Goal), individual interactive
wireless real-time assessment systems (EduClick) and other Internet resources such as DigitalBrain. Full details and CV will be here on the Education page shortly. |
 |
| I definitely feel that I have been re-serving my apprentiship in the classroom and so I was delighted to have my teaching
graded as "very good, with outstanding features" according to OFSTED criteria recently. Anyway, don't ever let anyone tell you that teachers don't
work hard. I'm shattered!. |
