The Lyon Hall offers ideal accommodation for all your events. We have a large hall with separate bar area,
a small private meeting room, well-equipped modern kitchen and excellent refurbished washrooms including facilities for people with disabilities.
Phase 1 of our refurbishment, completed in Summer 2006, saw the modernisation and access improvements to entrance, kitchen and washroom
facilities. This was made possible by grant funding from Awards for All, DEFRA, the Leverhulme Trust and a kind donation from
Hodnet Medical Practice. The final phases completed in April 2009 and April 2010 saw improvements to the bar room and main hall area.
The hall now has central heating, new windows and improved insulation throughout and the original vaulted ceiling has been restored. The final phases were possible due to funding from Awards for All, Shropshire Council and Hodnet Parish Council together with kind donations and fundraising.
